Artist Kate Laing embarks on another series of The 100 Day Project, a global art challenge intended for creatives to experience daily exploration with their creative practice for 100 days. The project began on February 22, 2026 and is scheduled to conclude on June 2, 2026. Each week’s handwoven sketches will be added to the shop on Sunday evenings. These are intended to be textural explorations and affordable artworks.

These 5x7 handwoven sketches are one-of-a-kind works, and can be hung on the wall with a simple nail. There is the option to upgrade the display, mounting the fiber element to a birch wood panel. The 5×7 birch wood panel adds additional structure, while keeping focus on the handwoven sketch. The 8×10 birch wood panel allows for more sculptural structure, and a framed effect with some area of the birch wood panel visible. The birch wood panels are available at an upgraded cost to the collector.
