Artist Kate Laing embarks on another series of The 100 Day Project, a global art challenge intended for creatives to experience daily exploration. The project began on February 22, 2026 and is scheduled to conclude on June 1, 2026. Each week’s handwoven sketches will be added to the shop on Sunday evenings. As handwoven “sketches,” these are intended to be textural exploration. Payment plans are available at checkout to maintain affordability and accessibility.

These 5x7 handwoven sketches are one-of-a-kind artworks, and can be hung on the wall with a simple nail. There is an option to upgrade the display, where Kate will mount the handwoven sketch to a birch wood panel.

Two panel sizes are available:

• The 5×7 birch wood panel adds additional structure, while keeping focus on the handwoven sketch. Only a small amount of the wood will show behind the fiber.

• The 8×10 birch wood panel allows for more sculptural structure, and a framed effect with roughly 1.5-3 inches of wood showing around the fiber.

• The birch wood panels add about 1 inch of depth to the completed work.
