the 2025 Mother’s Day Gift Guide application is open!

Hello creative friend! I'm thrilled that you're applying for Lionheart Canyon Studio’s first annual Mother’s Day Gift Guide! '

You may know that I have curated a beautiful Holiday Gift Guide for the past six years, and I am incredibly passionate about supporting artists and makers. 2025 has so far been very difficult for small businesses, so I hope this can be an outlet of support and connecting new collectors!

Whether you're an artist/maker of beautiful home goods, prints, apparel, stickers, paintings, art books, bath/home or other quality handmade items, I'd be honored to have your work considered. 2024’s Holiday edition had more than 30 different artists and makers from across the United States were featured, and it was such a beautiful curation of highly giftable works!

Please read this info page before applying!

A few highlights from the info page, if you need a reminder…

    • The gift guide acts as a gateway to your online shop, and I don’t take any commission from orders!

    • You may submit up to THREE items, and each item included will link to your overall shop or category.

    • You must have an online shop or an Etsy, so that viewers can easily purchase from you.

    • I will do my best to include at least one item from everyone who applies! Not all of your items may be included, as it depends on how many artists/makers apply and how many "similar" items or categories are submitted. Especially as my network of talented creatives grow, I’d like the gift guide to be diverse and well curated.

    • Your photographs are the most important part of the application! You can view last year’s gift guide to see examples of both staged products and items against clean backgrounds here.

    • Applications are open now through Friday, April 25!

    • Accepted artists/makers will receive an email by Sunday, April 27 with a working preview of the gift guide. I will certainly be quadruple checking links/spelling, but this gives you a chance to ensure everything is perfect.

    • The Holiday Gift Guide will be live by Monday, April 28. Seeing as Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11,I will do my best to get it out before April 28, if possible!

  • There is a application fee, however I understand a lot of small businesses are struggling right now. There will be a sliding scale application fee, so you can choose the level that feels best for you. The sliding scale will be increments of $5, from $5 to $20. Please reach out if you’re unable to pay on the sliding scale - I believe in accessibility and never want to exclude anyone based on financial hardship. (Read more about this on the info page)

The suggested application fee is $20. This helps cover the time I'll put into thoughtfully curating this gift guide, sifting through products, designing the page, checking links, etc. I also put energy into editing and marketing the gift guide, as well as communicating with the partcipating creatives (both individually and en mass).
