This mounted weaving by artist Kate Laing embraces the process of intentionally manipulating the handwoven forms, once removed from the tension of the loom. They are framed by a natural birch wood panel, creating an opportunity for exciting new texture and dimension.

The fiber element was handwoven by Kate Laing on a wooden frame loom with recycled cotton cord. It was handsewn to the panel through several small holes — no adhesive was used.
Collected artwork will be wrapped neatly in paper and tied with twine, and packaged safely to travel to your doorstep.
