When I was in Arizona for our Kilnfolk Artist’s Retreat, I wore a thrifted burnt orange jacket and a light blue dress — that color story has been speaking to me ever since, and I harnessed it in this weaving finally. Featuring an earthy desert color story of variations of burnt orange, sky blue, creams and soft browns/tans.
This wall hanging was made with handspun art yarn, sari silk, cotton cord, wool roving, and vintage fibers — all woven onto a 8” metal hoop. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly and tied with twine.
MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:
