“Look Towards the Sunlight” was handwoven by Kate Laing with Pendleton wool, handspun art yarn, fabric ribbon, cotton rope, recycled cotton cord, cotton frizz ribbon, vintage yarn, and wool. The driftwood branch was ethically and legally foraged from Lake Superior at Artist’s Point. There is a small cherry wood tag, signed Lionheart Canyon, sewn onto the back of the weaving.
This is considered a small-medium wall hanging, perfect for displaying along with other pieces of artwork on a gallery wall or small space. Recommended display is with gallery lighting or natural sunlight, to ensure the color story is shining any time of day.
