"Plant Seeds for New Growth" was handwoven by artist Kate Laing with Pendleton wool, Italian velvet fiber, recycled sari silk, handtorn velvet, locally dyed, metallic copper cord, embellished braided cotton cord, vintage fiber, and recycled cotton cord. The branch was ethically and legally foraged in the Arizona desert. There is a small cherry wood tag, signed Lionheart Canyon, sewn onto the back of the weaving as the artist’s signature.
This is considered a textural medium wall hanging, perfect for displaying over a couch, bed or dining room table, along with other pieces of artwork. Recommended display is with gallery lighting or natural sunlight, to ensure the color story is shining any time of day.
