“Sage and Sky” Weaving 01 was handwoven by artist Kate Laing with Pendleton Wool, chiffon ribbon, vintage floral fabric, embellished braided cotton cord, cotton rope, locally dyed wool yarn, Italian art yarn, and recycled cotton cord. The branch was ethically and legally foraged in Iowa. There is a small cherry wood tag, signed Lionheart Canyon, sewn onto the back of the weaving as the artist’s signature.
This weaving is perfect for displaying over a couch, bed or dining room table, along with other pieces of artwork — or as a standalone piece in a smaller space. Recommended display is with gallery lighting or natural sunlight, to ensure the color story is shining any time of day.
