The “Summer Garden in Bloom” Statement Weaving was handwoven by artist Kate Laing with vintage floral fabric, vintage yarn, vintage yarn, chiffon ribbon, embellished braided cotton cord, cotton rope, locally dyed wool yarn, Italian art yarn, and recycled cotton cord. The branch was ethically and legally foraged in Iowa. There is a small cherry wood tag, signed Lionheart Canyon, sewn onto the back of the weaving as the artist’s signature.
This weaving is perfect for displaying over a couch, bed or dining room table, either alone or along with other artworks. Recommended display is with gallery lighting or natural sunlight, to ensure the color story is shining any time of day.
